We have 8 places per course/class, and places will work on a first come, first served basis.
-
If you can’t make the dates for a Beginners Course, then you can either book onto an Introduction Class or wait for the next Beginners Course to be released.
Unfortunately, the Beginners Courses are non-transferable. You must attend all sessions, you can’t do alternatively classes if you miss a session.
-
If you have done Reformer Pilates before, you will still need to do an Introduction to Reformer class but please let us know that you’ve done Reformer before when you book the class and let the instructor when the class starts.
We will try to be as accommodating to your skill levels, while also maintaining our systems.

Reformer Pilates isn’t like any other form of exercise, it’s focused and requires both familiarity with the equipment and a high level of body awareness and control.
We want you to enjoy Reformer safely. Our experience shows that people need to do a minimum of 3 Tone classes before they’re able to safely participate in Sculpt, Booty or Cardio. Many of our clients do 10, 20 or 30 Tone classes prior to doing any other classes.
Reform Classes - our technically challenging class - require you to have done a minimum of ten Sculpt classes and get clearance from the Instructors.
Tone
Suitable for all fitness levels and ages, including complete beginners.
You must book onto this class for your first three sessions at Ballantyne Studios. Get to know the reformer, learn essential and signature moves, build your body awareness, realign your posture and gain strength from head to toe.
Sculpt
Our mixed ability full body class designed to increase and define muscles, build strength and improve your posture and flexibility.
This class will challenge your body and find muscles that you didn't know you had. Variations are given for each exercise, allowing you to control the intensity of your workout and props such as balls, rings and weights may be used to assist the workout.
Reform
Our technically challenging class, this class will elevate your expectations of strength and endurance while challenging your core stability, muscle strength and concentration.
A total body workout, creatively utilising the Reformer with a variety of props including hand weights, fitness circles and balls to challenge you in unique ways each class. This class is not "intense" in the usual gym way where sweatier is better, where you "push yourself to your limits" or do two more reps than last week. It isn't HIIT or Cross Fit or Boot Camp. This in "Intense" in a completely different way. You isolate and work small muscle groups, engaging your core and building up your posture muscles.
Expect to challenge your body and mind.
